Who is Maddie?

She’s my cheer idol, first of all. But if you don’t already know, here is a list of her amazing accomplishments:

©      Her signature move is the 360 ball-up to left stretch tick-tock to right stretch

Maddie is definitely one of the most recognized cheerleaders in the world. She was born in North Carolina and was introduced to cheer at age 4. Two years later she joined Cheer Extreme, and has basically taken over the cheer world since! During high school, Maddie managed to juggle schoolwork, competitive cheer, AND she was captain of the Mount Airy High School cheer team since her sophomore year.

Maddie is now a freshman studying journalism at UNC Chapel Hill where she is part of the co-ed cheer team. So she’s a normal student, like me, except for the fact that she’s a cheer superstar... If I could, I’d go to a UNC game to cheer for Maddie as she cheers for her team!!
